Scottish Urban Regeneration Forum Awards 2015
The Klin Group are delighted to be an instrumental partner in winning the SURF Award 2015.
The Klin Group chair Marie Macklin said ‘For me property regeneration is about the Hope, Belief, and Aspiration of a community’.
The private sector should be willing to work with communities in order to reinvent their towns to deliver a new economy for our future generations
It’s about partnership and during the Klin Group’s Kilmarnock regeneration and economic strategy which commenced in 2003 we have worked with many partners, including East Ayrshire Council, Scottish Government, Historic Scotland, Heritage Lottery Fund, Bank of Scotland and most of all the community of Kilmarnock. It is this partnership arrangement which has resulted in winning the prestigious ‘SURF Award 2015 for Most Improved Large Town’.
This is just the beginning of a new future for Kilmarnock and the other Ayrshire communities, with the Klin Group continuing to lead from the front creating a new future for our young people.
